Who we are
The Board is run by DAXSintech, Nottingham, UK. We are the “controller” of your personal data under UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).

What we collect
- Listings you send us: the business or society name, what it is, price, area or meeting times, a description and a contact handle (for example an Instagram name or Discord link). These are shown publicly once we approve them.
- Nothing else is sent to us. Accounts, messages, reviews and profiles on the Board are a demo for now. They are stored only in your own browser and never reach our servers. Don’t use a real password for them.
- Our hosting provider records basic technical information (such as IP addresses) in short-lived server logs to keep the site running and secure.
We don’t use analytics or advertising trackers, we don’t sell data, and our fonts and code are served from our own site.
Why we use it, and our legal basis
- Showing your listing so students can find you: our legitimate interest in running a free directory, and yours in being found. You choose what to send.
- Checking listings and stopping spam: our legitimate interest in keeping the Board accurate and safe.
Companies that process data for us
- Vercel: hosts the website.
- Supabase: stores listings ([your Supabase project region, from Supabase → Settings → General]).
These may be US companies. Where data leaves the UK it is protected by the safeguards UK law requires (the UK–US data bridge or the UK’s approved contract clauses).
How long we keep it
A listing stays until you ask us to remove it, or until we remove it because it’s out of date or breaks our terms. Listings we don’t approve are deleted.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your listing or any other data we hold, or object to how we use it. Email daxsintech@gmail.com. If you’re unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies and browser storage
The Board doesn’t set any cookies. It keeps a few things in your browser’s storage, which stay on your device:

The Board is for people aged 16 and over.

If we change this notice we’ll update the date at the top.
